Terms
What you can expect from us when you order food or book a table, and what we need from you. Written to be read — no small print, no clauses designed to be skipped.
Last updated 27/08/2026
This is our own plain-English policy. If you need something clarified, call us.
This website, altitudeagra.com, is operated by Altitude Rooftop Lounge & Kitchen, trading as Altitude Rooftop Lounge — a rooftop restaurant on the top floor at Top Floor, 19E/63/1-2, 19E/63/33-34, MG Road - 2, Jaipur House, Shahganj, Agra, Uttar Pradesh 282010, India.
“We”, “us” and “our” mean that business. “You” means the person placing an order or booking a table. Using this site — placing an order, making a reservation, or entering a promo code — means you accept these terms.
Adding a dish to your cart is not an order. Nothing is sent to the kitchen until you complete checkout. When you do, we verify your mobile number by SMS one-time password and place the order in our system with the status Pending.
Pending is an offer, not a contract. A contract exists only when the restaurant accepts the order and it moves to Confirmed. That usually takes a few minutes. Until then we may decline it — because the kitchen is at capacity, because a dish has run out, because your address falls outside our delivery area, or because the order looks fraudulent. If we decline an order you have already paid for online, we refund it in full.
We take online orders while the kitchen is open — 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM, seven days a week. The dining room and the terrace stay open until 11:30 PM.
Every price is recalculated on our own server from the live menu when you check out. If a price on your screen has gone stale, the server’s figure is the one that counts, and we will tell you before anything is charged.
Menu prices are in Indian rupees and are exclusive of taxes. What gets added to a bill is always itemised in front of you before you pay — we do not add a line at the end that you have not seen.
On a dine-in bill at the restaurant, any service charge shown is entirely voluntary. In line with the Central Consumer Protection Authority’s guidelines of 2022, it is never added automatically and never compulsory — tell the person serving you and it comes off the bill, no explanation needed. Orders placed on this website carry no service charge at all.
We may change menu prices at any time. The price that applies to your order is the one shown at the moment you check out.
We deliver with our own riders inside a radius of 8 km from the restaurant on MG Road. We do not use a third-party fleet, which is why the radius is honest and small rather than large and optimistic.
Delivery times shown on the site are estimates made in good faith from how busy the kitchen is. They are not guarantees. Traffic on MG Road, weather, a wedding procession or a power cut can all move them, and on a Saturday evening they generally do. We will tell you if an order is running badly late.
Somebody must be reachable on the mobile number given with the order. If our rider cannot reach you at the address within a reasonable time and cannot get you on the phone, we may return the food to the restaurant; in that case the order is treated as delivered and is not refunded. Please give us a landmark — Agra’s lanes are older than its addresses.
We deliver to the door of a building, not through a locked gate or a security desk that refuses entry. Where a delivery to your hand is impossible, we will call to agree what to do.
You can order online and collect from the restaurant. There is no minimum order, no packaging charge and no delivery charge on a pickup order.
We start cooking a pickup order when it is confirmed and hold it hot at the pass. Please collect within 30 minutes of the ready notification. Beyond that we cannot promise the food is at its best, and after an hour we may have to discard it — which we would rather not do, so a quick call if you are delayed helps everyone.
Bring the order number. It is in your confirmation message and it is the fastest way for the counter to find your bag.
Table bookings are free. We confirm them by SMS one-time password so that nobody can book a Saturday table in your name by mistake.
We hold your table for 15 minutes past the booking time. After that we may release it, particularly on a Friday or Saturday evening. We will almost always still seat you — it may just not be the table you had in mind. A message on WhatsApp when you are running late is usually enough for us to keep the good one.
Cancel free of charge up to 2 hours before your slot, from the link in your confirmation or by calling us. We do not take a card to hold an ordinary table and we do not charge a no-show fee — but repeated no-shows on the same number may mean we ask you to call rather than book online. Large parties and buy-outs are arranged separately and may carry a deposit, which we will always tell you about in writing first.
You can pay in whichever of these suits you:
If an online payment is taken but your order does not appear, do not pay again. Call us with the payment reference; the gateway either settles it to us within a day or returns it to you automatically, and we will tell you which.
Live offers are listed on our offers page, with the exact conditions on each one. In summary:
We can add, change or withdraw an offer at any time. An offer already applied to a confirmed order stands — we will not come back afterwards and ask for the discount.
Please call us before you order if you have a food allergy. +91 84451 00365. A note in the order box is easy to miss on a busy evening; a phone call is not.
Our kitchen handles milk and milk products, wheat and gluten, tree nuts (cashew and almond in particular), peanuts, soya, sesame, mustard, eggs, fish and crustaceans, in one space. Vegetarian dishes are prepared on a separate section, but we cannot promise any dish is free of traces of an allergen handled elsewhere in the kitchen. If a trace would be dangerous for you, please talk to us rather than relying on a menu label.
Every dish is marked vegetarian, non-vegetarian or containing egg in line with FSSAI rules. Jain preparation, no onion or no garlic can usually be done — ask, and ask early in the evening rather than late.
Dish descriptions and images on this site are indicative. Garnishes and accompaniments change with what the market had that morning.
Use the site to order food and book tables. Do not try to break into it, scrape it, resell our menu data, place orders you do not intend to accept, or use somebody else’s mobile number to book. We may refuse service, cancel an order or block a number where we reasonably believe any of that is happening.
The words, photographs, menu, design and code of this site belong to us. Please don’t republish them as your own.
We are responsible for serving food that is safe, correctly described and cooked with reasonable care and skill, and for the service we agreed to provide. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Those cannot be signed away and we are not trying to.
Beyond that: where something does go wrong with an order, our liability is limited to the value of that order — by replacement, credit or refund, as set out in our cancellations and refunds policy. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as a missed occasion or a delayed onward journey.
We are not liable for a delay or failure caused by something genuinely outside our control — a power failure, a strike, a curfew, extreme weather, a network or payment gateway outage, or an order to close. If that happens after you have paid and before we have cooked, you get your money back.
This site links to Google Maps and to WhatsApp. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms; we are not responsible for them.
We update this page when how we work changes — a new delivery radius, a different tax, a new way to pay. The date at the top always shows when it last changed, and the version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it.
We do not email everybody about a wording change. If a change materially affects money you have already paid us, we will contact you directly.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Agra, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, subject to any right you have as a consumer to bring a complaint before the consumer forum where you live.
Before any of that, please call us. Almost everything that has ever gone wrong here has been fixed by a phone call the same evening.
Or use the form on our contact page, which writes the message for you and hands it to WhatsApp.
